tion London takes Africa online with new campaign

tion London has recently been charged with creating a three month online campaign for retained client Acacia Adventure Holidays. The consultancy works closely with sister agency BlinQue London, an award winning digital strategy company.

Siobhan Kindness, creative partner at tion London, comments: “ This was really a natural progression for us.  In the latter part of 2008 we were also involved in implementing the successful “Crazy About Kenya” campaign. A responsible project involving Kenyan artists and musicians – its main aim was to get the destination back on track after the political turmoil. Since we initiated the campaign, Kenya has worked its way back into Acacia Adventure Holidays’ top five destinations."

"This time our remit is broader as we will be covering the tour operator’s entire product base. There will also be an emphasis on live communication with clients, for example, Dan “Our Man In Africa” who will be sharing his experience as part of a real time tweet tour (www.dansadventure.co.uk)."

“Twitter is a living and breathing version of travel, more up to date than any destination review or guide.  For a tour operator who works closely with its clients – it’s a dream PR tool.”

tion London will also be organising destination “tweet ups” and using the expert knowledge of the tour operator to develop globe trotting alter egos on Acacia Adventure Holidays new blog (africastuckonyou.blogspot.com).
